There is no cost for students in supported school districts to receive Everybody Counts Career Coach services.

Everybody Counts is located in the Kentucky Education and Labor Cabinet - Office of Educational Programs at 500 Mero Street in Frankfort, KY. 

​Everybody Counts does seek to promote school districts through providing access to school district employment opportunities, generating exposure and awareness to various district college and career readiness events and activities, as well as highlighting the district’s student placements and student success stories.

​Work-based Learning opportunities vary by school district. We recommend checking with your school district Work-Based Learning Coordinator and/or your district’s Family Resources Youth Service Coordinator (FRYSC). ​Everybody Counts helps school districts build infrastructure around student career and college readiness. The Everybody Counts initiative focuses on helping every senior create and carry out a plan of action after high school graduation. Everybody Counts works in collaboration and cooperation with the school districts to enhance KY industry and career exposure, improve college exposure and access, and promote individual support through Career Coaches embedded in the school throughout the school year.

​By completing the School District Application – school districts can apply for partnership with Everybody Counts. New district applications are reviewed annually for potential partnership. Districts selected for partnership will follow the Partnership process for implementation.

​Yes. During the process following the School District Application, the Everybody Counts initiative will review the submission from the school district to determine eligibility. School Districts which already employ College and Career Readiness Coaches should highlight plans, policies and programs supporting college and career readiness as well as support needs that still exist. School districts should identify clear areas and plans that would be positively impacted through partnership with Everybody Counts.

​Everybody Counts is also supported by The Kentucky Department of Education, Kentucky Council on Post Secondary Education, Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), Kentucky Council of Area Development Districts, as well as local City Government agencies and various community-based partners including Metro United Way, Evolve502, One Lexington, Louisville Urban League, and Urban League of Lexington.
